Overview
Mainfreight has received notice from a number of carriers announcing a reduction in freight costs for the November period. These reductions are with key trading origins in North Asia including China and range between USD 200 – 500 per TEU.This is a welcome reduction in cost as we engage with carriers daily to challenge their competitiveness and seek out additional space and service opportunities for our customers.
Based on these FCL container reductions Mainfreight will also apply an LCL reduction on all applicable lanes. This is summarised below with effective dates outlined.
